YES — DesertSong is booking musicians and other Folk Artists for Showcases and a House Concert series, and supplying talent for other local community events.
Our mission is to nurture cultural understanding through up-close and personal performances.
We want the people of the High Desert to get to know YOU, and for you to meet them.
If you perform, it will be for exposure, for the love of music, and for fun.
We’re working hard to develop a budget, but the sponsorships and donations we currently receive barely pay for the ‘phone and web site.
We are looking for:
Americana, Singer-Songwriters, New Folk, Celtic, Bluegrass, Pop, Storytellers, Poets, and crossover artists .
PERFORMERS:
If you are an artist and would like to be in our database, there are THREE WAYS to do it:

3. Send an email: CLICK TO EMAIL and include the following:
- Photo
- Style of music you play (or other performance specialty)
- Short bio
- Samples of your music (MP3′s or links to recordings)
- A copy of our stage plan form (link below), filled out the best you can—we know things change.
3. If all that electronic hitech Internet stuff is not your bag, you can use the Post Office to send us your photo, bio, stage plan and CD, and we’ll be just as happy.
